11 day Western Cape/Northern Cape Tour

Prices indicated are per person and are approximate, based on a party of 6 travelling in an air-conditioned microbus. Included in the tour: All normal entrance fees, budget style accommodation, breakfasts, transport, and the services of a fully qualified guide.
Excluded are items of a personal nature, drinks, meals other than those provided.

Day 1

Take a leisurely drive up the West Coast, visiting small villages en route, before arriving in Lambert's bay. Enjoy an outdoor seafood eating experience, before returning to your B and B, run by local people renowned for their unsophisticated hospitality.

Day 2

Today we head on up, travelling the flower route, to spend the night in Nieuwoudtville.

Day 3

Continue on our drive to Springbok, in the Northern cape, sightseeing on the way.

Day 4

Drive out to Port Nolloth for a day on the beach or exploring the town, before returning to Springbok.

Day 5

Travel inland, visiting towns like Pella (famous for its dates), and Pofadder, famous for "just being here". Spend the night on a grape farm.

Visit Augrabies National Park on the way to Upington, wine tasting on route. Explore Upington in the afternoon.

Today we drive northwards to spend the night in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park .

Spend the day doing a game drive in the park.

Day 9

After an early morning game drive, head to Witsand Nature reserve, for a completely different nature experience, and to hear the "roaring sands".

Depart this morning for Kimberly, to see the Big hole, visiting Griquatown and the Anglo Boer War battlefields on the way.

Spend the morning sightseeing, before catching a flight to your next destination, or combine this tour with another that goes to Johannesburg.
